Christopher Ellis Live in London

Renowned for putting on nights for the real music lovers, Saturday 1st September 2012 sees Jazz Cafe present Christopher Ellis, the last son of 'King of Rocksteady' Alton Ellis.

Having been signed to the Ghetto Youths record label founded by the Marley Brothers, Christopher Ellis has been fortunate enough to be working and performing alongside some of the best in the business. At the moment, Reggae royalty Christopher Ellis is working on his debut album produced by brothers Stephen Marley and Damian 'Junior Gong' Marley. This album is not only highly anticipated by many, but is already set to go down in history as a classic. As we look forward to the release of this a bit later on in the year, we can witness the man himself bring the Jazz Cafe stage to life on Saturday 1st September 2012.

Seeing as Christopher has been doing a vast amount of touring all over the World in Jamaica, France and several states in the US blowing people away with his sweet vocals which we are already accustomed to on his tracks English, Yard Style and his rendition of Willow Tree, it was only right that he put on a show for us here in London.

On the night Christopher Ellis will be showcasing not only his talent, but his years of stage experience which he has accumulated from touring with his father over the years and he will be doing so alongside some very special guests.
Guaranteed to rock the Jazz Cafe stage for one night only at London's Jazz Cafe on Saturday 1st September 2012, you do not want to miss out on this one. To purchase tickets to see Christopher Ellis live for just £10 and be a part of history in the making you can call the ticket line on 07956 596 445, or click here.

Popcaan - Girls Medley (Official Video)

Going through a series of Popcaan's latest tracks, this medley is aimed at the girls but can most definitely be enjoyed by all. Admittedly, this is probably one of the few medleys that I can listen to all the way through without being tempted to hit the fast forward button due to a lack of interest or discontent. In fact, if anything, I find myself hitting the replay button to enjoy the vibes once more! Here is the Girls Medley featuring tracks Medal, Whine Up, Popcaan Says, and last but certainly not least Naughty Girl.

Konshens - Gyal Kin Ketch A Fyah/Street Code Mixtapes

Konshens has been one of my favourite artists for a few years now and has recently begun to get the exposure that he truly deserves since releasing his most recent hits 'Do Sumn' 'Gal A Bubble' and 'Stop Sign' which have been causing a storm across the Globe.

With all eyes on him at present, he has released two mixtapes with a lot of new Konshens material alongside his most recent hits. On one hand, we have the first mixtape entitled Street Code which is almost a sense of guidance in the form of music which features global hit 'Do Sumn' and entails the concious vibes which we often associate with this artist.

On the other hand, the second mixtape 'Gyal Kin Ketch A Fyah' is very rude, raw and out of order, but nonetheless portrays the Dancehall sounds that we're very much accustomed to. This mixtape is once again brought to us by Kingston Allstars who brought us yet another Konshens mixtape some time ago. In terms of this particular mixtape, there is nothing more to say than 'Bounce da one yah fi di General bubble pon...'
